Modification of liability and insurance in the movement of motor vehicles

Abstract

This paper focus on the reforms appeared during 2015 in car insurance and civil liability arising from traffic accidents. We discuss the reforms in the light of the two standards that have led to major changes in this area: The Organic Law 1/2015 of 30 March, amending the Organic Law of 23 November, amending the Criminal Code and decriminalize the offenses; and Law 35/2015, of September 22, reform the system for the assessment of the damages caused to persons in traffic accidents, called «reform of the scale», also it modifies other aspects of the Civil Liability Act and Insurance in the Circulation of Motor Vehicles (supply and motivated answer, auto executive).
