Area of intervention of the local entities in the sector of the telecommunications

Abstract

Recognized in section 149.1.21 of the Constitution the exclusive jurisdiction of the state on the subject of telecommunications, following the European dynamic, in Spain this is a liberalized sector, which constitutes a basic element of economic and technological development of any state. This paper aims to analyze the regime of competence in this sector and particularly how it is involved in analyzing local government sectors to it directly affect you, such as municipal taxes, safety in public places, management traffic of vehicles and people on urban roads, civil protection and fire prevention, management, implementation and town planning, environmental protection, historical and artistic heritage and protection of public health.
