Introduction to the drone civil use legal framework

The legal framework the use of the drones points out great challenges, and it is essential to develop a study to attend the different levels of regulation, that at least in the European Union, we can see with provisionality and contingency, as it is the case of the Regulation 216/2008.
However, we need to establish an adequate regulation of the civilian use of drones and embedded technology - which is in constant development - while ensuring legal security for drone operations, and respect for fundamental rights that may be affected, with a multi-level legal perspective (EU, internal).
This work is precisely an analysis of the current European and Spanish legislation from that perspective, with a particular focus on the civil use of drones.
