The protection of health at work of older workers

Abstract

The increase in life expectancy, together with the gradual extension in the normal retirement age, will result in a significant increase in the average age of the workforces of companies.

This increase in the number of older workers represents an opportunity for companies to the increase the knowledge and experience accumulated by them, but in turn requires greater attention to the management of the protection of the health of these workers, which, mostly, are especially sensitive to some occupational hazards.
