This text reviews the edited volume Eco-legal Guarantees for a Socially Just Green Transition: Between (Few) Advances and (Many) Resistances, highlighting its holistic and multidisciplinary approach to articulating a new “eco-labour” paradigm of guarantees. The review underscores the integration of diverse legal fields (labour law, social security, commercial, international, civil, and tax law) and the book’s aim of reconciling social justice with environmental protection. It further emphasises the role of social dialogue and trade union participation, alongside contributions addressing green employment, occupational health and safety, and corporate responsibility.
