Abstract

Nearly twenty years after the first law ordering system Inspection of Labour and Social Security it has issued Law 23/2015, of July 21, Milking System Inspection of Labour and Social Security (BOE of 22), which is to create a new model, with a renovated structure certainly, without sacrificing its essential foundations and, ultimately, is to update the legislation on the inspection with regard to the organization of the system. Proof of this has been the immediate transformation of one of the most effective inspection bodies of the public Administration, that of sub-inspectors of Employment and Social Security, which not only changes of name –now called Labour
Sub-inspectors– but forking over two scales (Employment and Social Security and Occupational Safety and Health), and attributed to them more powers. It also highlights another major change, although its operation is subject to the approval of its statutes, I mean the «State Labour Inspection and Agency Social Security», which is a little revolution to reform from the base directive organization of the Inspectorate. These are just a sampling of the innovations that have justified the renewal of the inspection and referred to hereinafter.
