Abstract

In an era of social and wage cuts to public employees and keeping in mind the main «attraction» and motivation in any job is the salary, it would be appropriate to recall there are other ways to encourage the good performance and productivity, without have an impact on staff chapters that might think, and that benefit both the employee and the organization.

We are going to briefly examine these systems, which can add value to work, improve the efficiency and effectiveness, help to create working environment, organizational culture and can be powerful motivational tools without great cost to the Public Administration, and also connected with the performance evaluation, as an instrument of public service improvement.
