The Revista de Trabajo y Seguridad Social. CEF, committed to gender policies that lead to real equality between women and men in our scientific community and society in general:
- It has an Editorial Board made up of 10 women and 13 men, including members of the Management, Editorial Board, and Scientific Committee, as well as an external review team consisting of 7 women and 8 men.
- It publishes gender-disaggregated statistics on the number of female and male authors (https://revistas.cef.udima.es/index.php/rtss/estadisticas) for the papers.
- It includes the full names of the authors of published works.
- It provides authors with a Guide to non-sexist gender-neutral language , which contains recommendations for writing articles with a constant focus on the fundamental right to gender equality.
- It recommends, as stated in the author guidelines and publication rules, the inclusion, where relevant, of a sex/gender analysis that considers the significance of these variables in the research design, methodological approach, results, discussion, and limitations, as well as the possible differences in sex/gender in the conclusions.
- It incorporates a gender perspective in the review process and evaluation reports, including a commitment for reviewers to assess whether studies include a sex/gender-disaggregated analysis and address its significance in the research design, results, discussion, and limitations. The evaluation reports also include an assessment of the relevance of incorporating a gender perspective in relation to the analyzed topic and provide justified reasons for such inclusion.
