Abstract

The Spanish legislator has developed in recent years a legislative attention to the promotion of self-employment and entrepreneurship. These economic and business activities have a significant amount of financial resources, particularly from the Social Security besides –other such fiscal incentives–. At the close of the legislature he has returned to enact various laws that insist that direction –Act 31/2015, 9 of September and Act 25/2015, 28 of July–. In this study we analyze the main legal developments. The final conclusion is favorable to the deployment of policies favor towards self-employment, but we should criticize that such policies are based primarily on reducing income from Social Security. You need to look more equitable and efficient alternatives.
