Abstract

As a result of the contributory nature of the economic benefits for permanent disability, its recognition is subject to prior conditions of assurance compliance. Therefore, will need worker find affiliate and signup or assimilated status to high on the date of the contingency or causing permanent disability fact and it shows a previous contribution period (except in the case of industrial accident or not, and occupational diseases). In the computation of periods of contribution required to cause the economic benefits, permanent disability due to common disease, and where appropriate accident not labour are taken into account all contributions carried out effectively by the beneficiary to the Social Security system.

On the calculation of contributions, the Supreme Court has made constant interpretations that allow the configuration of rules which should serve to facilitate its better development under special circumstances (special convention, temporary disability...). This study aims to go the jurisprudential doctrine result of those interpretations.
