Abstract

Distance work has been the subject of regulation both internally and in the EU and international spheres, as detailed in the explanatory memorandum to Royal Decree-Law 28/2020, of 22 September, on distance work. But it has taken a pandemic to enact a regulation which, although it does not guarantee greater implementation in companies, at least resolves some of the issues before which article 13 of the Workers' Statute has so far proved insufficient.

This commentary will analyse the new regulation of distance work, trying to highlight its most relevant aspects.
