El rol mediador de la satisfacción laboral en la relación entre la percepción del empleado sobre el entorno laboral y su compromiso organizativo

Numerosos autores han reconocido la importancia del compromiso organizativo y la satisfacción laboral como actitudes clave en el trabajo y de influencia relevante en aspectos como la rotación, el absentismo o la productividad.
El presente trabajo expone teóricamente diversos modelos que analizan la dependencia entre ambos constructos para, posteriormente, proponer, estimar y validar mediante metodología SEM un modelo que incide en la relación entre satisfacción laboral y compromiso organizativo y el efecto mediador de la primera en la influencia que diversos factores acerca de la percepción del empleado sobre su trabajo ejercen sobre el segundo. Las conclusiones obtenidas deben permitir a la Dirección de Recursos Humanos conocer los aspectos sobre los que puede trabajar para conseguir un capital humano, no sólo satisfecho, sino comprometido con la organización, lo que influirá positivamente en su rendimiento y desempeño.
