Abstract

As it well know to all, SARS-CoV-2 (or COVID-19) is a new type of coronavirus that is affecting people’s health. It was first detected in December 2019 in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. COVID-19 is generating countless problems of all kinds in Spain (and the rest in the world). Among many others, it is posing new challenges and perspectives within the labour legal field. In terms of Social Security we were able to see the first normative reactions in relation to the paradigm shift projected by coronavirus. Throughout this text, I will comment in a systematic and understable way all the measures that have been taken on Social Security throughout this crisis, in this case, by Royal Decree-Law 6/2020, 7/2020, 8/2020 and 9/2020.
