Recognizing the importance of work for people, in recent years, mainly from the 90's, the concern for quality of work has been a recurring theme not only in the academic context, but also among those involved in the working world.
Issues such as the creation of new jobs, lower productivity in the economy, increasing inequality in income distribution, labor market deregulation in many countries and the presence of forms of contingent and temporary employment. Also, other factors incluided have generated the perception that the quality of jobs is deteriorating.
The aim of this paper is to analyze the phenomenon of labor quality in its breadth. To this end, we develop a multilevel conceptual model which seeks to integrate the various perspectives and levels that affect the determination of the quality of work.
In other words, from the dimensions that make up the concept of labour quality (objective and subjective), the model integrates the various agents whose actions determine these dimensions (business, unions and government agencies), making the quality of work increases or decrease.
