El impacto económico de los programas de selección de personal: la utilidad

El problema de la utilidad se enmarca dentro de otro problema más amplio que afecta a los especialistas en psicología del trabajo y de las organizaciones. Este problema se refiere a la cuantificación de las contribuciones de tales expertos en dirección de recursos humanos, al éxito u obtención de beneficios de la organización a la que prestan sus servicios. La cuestión es si su contribución es realmente intangible comparada con otras funciones de dirección como finanzas, márketing o ingeniería, o si se puede medir de alguna manera. Dicho en otros términos: ¿cuál es el valor real de los programas de gestión de los recursos humanos en la mejora de la productividad organizacional?, ¿contribuyen sus trabajos a conseguir más beneficios para las empresas?
