Abstract

The recent global economic crisis has had negative effects on many national labor markets, the Spanish one among them. Within it, the younger unemployed represent one of the groups that most suffer the consequences.

In order to correct the situation, the domestic legislator has embarked on an ambitious plan: through continuous normative texts, offers alternatives to the younger population to get out of a situation, in which hopelessly has been led. Specifically, there are three central pillars of its strategy: hiring, training and entrepreneurship.

However, the end can not always justify the means, especially when, as is the case, the latter result in a significant depreciation of working conditions, prevailing the quantitative factor (insertion) on the qualitative one (quality in the employment).

The present work focuses on the analysis of the most significant expressions of this phenomenon.
