Alineación de las personas con la organización: Influencia de los estilos de liderazgo y las prácticas de gestión de Recursos Humanos sobre la seguridad en el empleo, la autonomía, la satisfacción y el compromiso de los empleados

Este trabajo ha obtenido el 2.º Premio Estudios Financieros 2010 en la modalidad de recursos humanos.
El informe de una prestigiosa escuela de negocios (Wharton, 2008), a las puertas de la actual crisis económica, anticipaba un profundo cambio en las reglas del juego de los negocios. La globalización ha permitido el acceso a los recursos y la tecnología a casi cualquier empresa del planeta. En consecuencia, las organizaciones son cada vez más conscientes del valor estratégico de sus plantillas y consideran a sus recursos humanos como una fuente de ventaja competitiva. Contar con unos empleados seguros de su empleo, satisfechos, autónomos y comprometidos facilita su alineación con la estrategia, incrementando así la competitividad de la empresa. Identificar los medios de estimular estos procesos psicológicos es un objetivo central para la mayoría de departamentos de recursos humanos. Este estudio analiza el efecto sobre las citadas variables de los estilos de liderazgo y las prácticas de gestión de recursos humanos. Los resultados permiten identificar los estilos de liderazgo y las prácticas de gestión más eficaces. Los modelos obtenidos proporcionan así un marco de gestión para departamentos de recursos humanos y una guía de actuación para directivos.
