The 2017 Reform of the Self-Employment Regulation

Abstract

The Law 6/2017, of October 24th, on urgent reforms concerning to self-employment, has modified various aspects relative to taxation, contribution, social protection, training and institutional participation of those people who work on their own. Although these changes represent an undoubted improvement in respect of the previous regulation, many other measures that are equally or more important for the performance of the entrepeneurship have been silenced or its implementation depends of the uncertain result of parliamentary works currently in progress.
