Culture eats strategy for breakfast. An approach to electrical and telecommunications installations industry from the AdAp model

Nowadays organizations operate in increasingly complex environments, unstable and scarce resources. This situation requires them to maintain and increase competitiveness through their ability to learn and adapt. Strategic thinking evolution caused distinct currents show different focus areas. For example, during the last decades, the competitive environment or the resources and capabilities. In the framework of a study to improve the competitiveness on electrical and telecommunications installations sector, this paper analyzes the role that environment, strategy and culture play in the process of organizational alignment. Also, from a cybernetic approach, analyzed the ability of these organizations to adapt to changes in the environment.
