Con demasiada frecuencia en el estudio del comportamiento organizativo se tiende a enfatizar el comportamiento y relegar a un segundo plano la organización. Precisamente, en este trabajo pretendemos demostrar la capacidad que los factores organizativos tienen en la generación de actitudes implicadas con el trabajo. La eficacia de las organizaciones está condicionada por este hecho, de tal manera que la disposición personal hacia el trabajo propio constituye un elemento determinante para asegurar, y garantizar, la supervivencia a largo plazo de la empresa. La investigación empírica desarrollada en el trabajo pone de manifiesto cuáles son los principales fenómenos que están relacionados -directa o indirectamente- con la actitud individual hacia el trabajo, es decir, con el desarrollo de la implicación o alienación laboral.
